The weather has been cool and rainy all afternoon. Got an email from Barry this morning saying that it sounded like the monochrometer had jammed and the amp might be bad, so now we have 2 problems. Hopefully I will hear soon whether or not he thinks I should tr to fix it here or just wait until we get it back to Houston and repair the whole system there.
Other than that the rest of the systems seem to be ok. David is cleaning the optics below canopy each day and the above canopy every other day. He takes the external drive out to the Ameriflux array to back up the data since we don't have a wireless signal out there. Ryan has figured out how to apply the baseline corrections and slope to the SO2 data, so he has reprocessed all of it up to today.
The SkyCam seems to be working ok, but I wasn't thinking about backing up the data when I plugged the camera into the second USB port on the front of the computer. Rather than unplugging something or fighting to get at the back I am backing up the SO2 data and pics to my laptop via VNC. It was fairly quick this afternoon so hopefully it won't be too painful for the reaminder of the project.
Yesterday I forgot to reset the So2 cal times, so this morning I reset them to happen overnight tonight at the regular times. So far we haven't tied the CO cal into the system, probably won't. I'll talk to Steve tomorrow about replacing the remaining teflon std add line with SS.
